The Owasso Chamber is home to several committees and task forces that are active in shaping our community.

  • Ambassador Committee

Ambassadors act as the peer arm of the Chamber and represent the Chamber membership in the community.

  • Golf Tournament

This task force is responsible for securing teams and/or sponsorships for the annual golf tournament typically held in June. Volunteers are also needed to work the event in various areas on the day of the event.

  • Other Opportunities

The chamber has many opportunities throughout the year in which we rely on volunteers to help work an event. Job duties will vary for each event.

  • Resource Campaign Team

Help our members invest in next year's Chamber activities and receive rewards. The Resource Campaign runs over a three-month period of time when you can help the Chamber obtain investment levels for the organization to operate and serve the community in the coming fiscal year. Your efforts could win you a trip - or two!

  • Annual Awards Gala

This committee works to plan the biggest celebration in town! The committee meets from September through January to plan this event, involve investors, oversee awards selection, and collect auction items.

  • Redbud Days Committee

This committee plans our community festival, Redbud Days, held the first Thursday of May through that Saturday. This committee has subcommittees including: Entertainment, Business, Recreation and Food.

  • New Member Mentor

Help new chamber members make the most of their benefits. Invite them to events, show them how to use the MIC and build a personal relationship.

  • Shop Small Owasso

This event is always held in conjunction with Small Business Saturday, which is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Volunteers are required to contact local small businesses that might be interested in participating in this community-wide event. Each volunteer is responsible for delivery of materials to the businesses they personally confirm.
