Join Owasso’s leading business organization. Our mission is to maximize the profitability of our business community while enhancing the quality of life for our citizens.
Chamber Benefits: Immediate listing on the chamber website; new member ribbon cutting; invitation to make a new member announcement at the next monthly membership luncheon; and your business will be listed in the alphabetical and categorical sections of our annual publication called Lifestyle Owasso Magazine. This contemporary magazine is mailed to 14,000 Owasso residents with an additional 2,000 used throughout the year inside our office.
The Chamber advocates for pro-business legislation. We work closely with local, state, and federal officials to pass legislation favorable to business and industry. We are an active member of the OneVoice regional coalition that each year, identifies and prioritizes, the region’s top ten state and federal legislative initiatives. We then lobby our elected officials in OKC and Washington D.C. for passage of the initiatives..
The Chamber is a strong advocate for educational excellence. Offering quality educational programming and facilities is the number one reason why new residents move to Owasso. We support and endorse quality educational expansions in the Owasso Public Schools, Rejoice Christian Schools, Tulsa Tech-Owasso Campus and Tulsa Community College.
The Chamber is a strong advocate for improved and expanded transportation corridors. Currently, our number one transportation objective is to secure funding for 6-laning US 169 from 56th St. North to 116th St North. This is imperative for public safety and for Owasso to maximize its residential and corporate growth potential. We are in close working relationship with our federal and state delegations, as well as ODOT officials.
The Chamber seeks to create quality jobs and to retain existing ones. Quality jobs is essential to our future prosperity. Expanding our professional, educational, healthcare, residential, retail and restaurant sectors is fundamental to our success. We have a professional working relationship with the City of Owasso, The Tulsa Regional Chamber and the Department of Commerce to encourage economic development.
